Armenia Wines Factory

  • Garni
The fortress of Garni dates to the oldest periods of inhabitation in Armenia and is located in one of Armenia’s most spectacular settings. Built on a triangular plot of land jutting out over the Azat River Gorge, it is naturally protected on two sides by sheer cliffs .
The compound includes the outer wall and fortifications, garrison and servant quarters, the 1st century temple to Mythra and summer palace, and a 3rd century Roman Bath.
  • Geghard
The monastery was famous for its relics, including the Relics of apostles Andrew and John, donated in the 12th century, and as recorded in the 1250s, the relic that gave it its present name, The Lance, the spear believed to have pierced the side of Christ on the cross.
  • Tsakhkadzor
Tsaghkadzor is the second Armenian city after Yerevan to have the largest number of hotels. Many luxury hotels and resorts were opened recently to serve the town during the summer and winter seasons.
Top Attractions Are Rope Ways and Skiing parts.

  • Khor Virap
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged.
The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained.
Gregory the Illuminator ( Patron Saint ) was initially imprisoned here for about 14 years by King Tiridates III of Armenia.
  • Areni Cave
    World Oldest Winery.
World oldest Leather shoe, was found by the archeologists during the excavations .
  • Noravank
God the Father’s left hand cradles the head of Adam receiving a breath of life from the Holy Spirit (the dove). For medieval Armenians (the vast majority who could not read), the meaning of this stone “picture book” was clear (God gave life with Adam, and then he gave life everlasting with the sacrifice of his son) and compellingly depicted.
Architect Momik demonstrated a unique approach in designing the churches at Areni St. Astvatsatsin and developed a completely new approach for the church called “Burtelashen” at Noravank, with a two-story crowned rotunda.
